19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Commode was hand-crafted from select French walnut, and features timeless architecture inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman masters. The subtle bowed front to the casework is immediately obvious, but the hand-carved embellishment across the facade steals the show with the upper drawer featuring a fanciful French rendition of Greek coin.  The richness of the choice French walnut is on full display on all three sides.  Topped with luxuriously veined onyx, it features its original cast brass bale pulls and finely detailed key guards.
