Reproduction 18th Century Italian Painted & Gilded Candlestick Table Lamp is an amazing copy of hand-carved, hand-painted candlesticks that were made in the 18th century in various cities in what is today's Italy.  The classical architectural form is enhanced by the footed tripod base above which appears an urn form decorated with lotus blossom motif, with finely shaped turnings dominating the work.  A distressed, patinaed painted finish includes a gray tone highlighted with antique gold.  A realistic candlesleeve cover hides the socket, and a high-quality silk shade completes the look.
