Mid-Century Jansen & Sons Desk Chair is a beautifully styled and splendidly crafted product of the renowned furniture crafting family.  Created from hand-select quarter-sawn oak, it features a wraparound design, with ample contoured backrest situated atop the wraparound armrests which provide a top framework for the intricate intertwined and gold-highlighted design on the lower seatback.  Another wraparound structural support adds stylish sturdiness, connecting the seatback both to the round seat and the front turned armrest supports.  The seat is generously sized and provides a 20 inch high platform for comfort, upholstered in faux leather for elegance.  The intriguing support below is an ode to the gothic buttress architectural feature so prominent in historical construction, with each of four legs connected again at the base with an "X" stretcher.  Chair swivels on the support for modern convenience.
