Pair 19th Century French Louis XIII Fauteuils ~ Armchairs were sculpted from solid fruitwood, and feature gracefully scrolled armrests coupled with high, arched seatbacks and generous seats resulting in uncommon comfort. The lower apron was pierce-carved in a stylized foliate theme, contrasting with the turned stretchers and lions' paws feet. The chairs are upholstered in a burgundy mohair for an opulent touch.
