Pair Antique French Directoire Style Mahogany Armchairs feature the tailored, elegant lines of the design that has made it popular for two centuries!  The wraparound seatbacks are flared outwards to present nothing but curved edges to one seated in the chair, enhancing comfort.  the upholstered back also wraps around one's torso to provide more comfort, with a cushioned seat adding to that feature.  Oval shaped seat is very ergonomic, and supported by four turned legs with horizontal flutes and extended brass tips, all connected by a modified "H" stretcher design for added strength.  The top of the seatback and the rim of the seat itself are also highlighted with inlay of satinwood with a figured panel for added visual appeal.
