19th Century French Gothic Hall Bench ~ Pew

19th Century French Gothic Hall Bench ~ Pew was fashioned from solid old-growth oak to literally last for centuries!  The simplicity of the structural design is apparent, proven over the eons to be sturdy decade after decade.  The design incorporates a two-level side structure on each side, capped with a beveled top and with each panel designed with a recessed molded panel that hints at the basic Gothic style.  The two are connected by a solid plank seat back with a plank cap rail, as well as solid planks for the seat, and yet another plank below serving as a trestle.  Lastly, an elaborately curvaceous armrest connects the taller with the shorter side panels, beautifully adorned with a molded quatrefoil for a truly timeless look.
