19th Century French Renaissance Hall Bench is a masterwork of the sculptor's art!  Rendered from old-growth oak, it features a neoclassical theme across the crown melded with a stylized foliate pattern on the three panels of the seat back separated by pilasters, and finished with two full relief lion's heads each holding a brass ring in his mouth!  The seat below is solid oak, carved all around the edge, and lifts open like a trunk to reveal surprising storage!  Different styles are represented on the panels of the trunk below, with more geometric frameworks filled with rosette forms, even on the sides!  Matching pilasters frame the panels below as well, with bold molding and bun feet to provide support.
