19th Century Country French Vitrine ~ Bonnetiere from Normandie is in essence a petite display armoire that is more versatile for efficient floor plans!  Hand-crafted from solid indigenous old-growth oak, it features a finely molded crown centered with a sculpture of a basket of flowers flanked by wildflower sprays.  The upper section is glazed on each side and on the door, with sculpted contour carved into the framework with floral carvings as accents to provide a style flair.  A centered horizontal panel carved with complementary wildflowers separates the glazed upper tier from the lower cabinet, fixed with a solid door carved with elements that mirror the upper tier, and that opens to reveal surprising storage.  Complementing the storage is a full width drawer below that, also carved on the facade, with a beautifully scrolled apron and legs below, of course carved to perfection as well!  Both doors are mounted with full length barrel hinges and steel key guards.  An excellent example of rustic charm, perfect for the casual decor!
