19th Century French Louis Philippe Vitrine ~ Confiturier ~ Cabinet is a splendid artifact from the middle of the 1800s that makes an excellent choice for today's more efficient floorplans!  Able to stand alone or if so desired, hung on the wall, it was hand-crafted from sumptuous French walnut in the tailored lines of the style, then fitted with hand-rolled glass on the cabinet door accentuated by arched mullions.  The cabinet door is accessed by an old brass knob, and opens to reveal three shelves for four surfaces to allow one to display one's finest collectibles with flair.  Below the door is a full width drawer with two brass pulls, and underneath the boldly contoured base.  A wonderful reminder of the austerity of the style which was designed to allow the returning Bourbon king to distance himself from the excesses of his predecessors!
