Antique Directoire Style Mahogany Petite Vitrine with Carrara Marble was hand-crafted in the mid-1900s out of exotic imported mahogany, then trimmed in brass and fitted with brass drawer and cabinet knobs, then finally topped with elegant Carrara marble for a clean, tailored look that blends so well with a huge variety of decor styles! The design is also exceptionally shallow, making it a good choice for high-traffic areas, entryways, hallways, even stairwell landings. The door is fitted with generously sized glazing allowing you to display its contents on no less that three adjustable shelves, with the floor serving as the fourth surface. The drawer provides a convenience feature normally not found on a piece of this size. Finally, four turned and tapered legs fitted with brass feet provide support.
Circa mid-1900s
