Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Vitrine ~ Display Cabinet will make a stunning visual statement in any room, calling attention to your prized family heirlooms or cherished collection.  Hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany, it features panels with flame or crotch patterns to magnify the natural beauty.  The corners are generously rounded which, combined with the foot and a half depth, creates a piece that is very traffic-friendly to any room.  The top is solid mahogany with beveled edge, contoured to fit the case, and is perfect for additional open display above.  Glass on the rounded corners and the top three fourths of the large cabinet door allow one to easily view the contents displayed within, accentuated by the mirrored backing and glass shelves which allow more than enough ambient light in.  The aforementioned lower panels are highlighted with cast brass molding trim including rosettes on the door panel, and with the door open reveal discreet storage available below.  The door is framed by a step-front rounded corner design highlighted with cast brass ormolu mounts above, fluting the entire length, and brass reeding below.  Four tapered and fluted legs with brass foliate rings and foot tips provide support.
