Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Vitrine with Bronze Ormolu is the ideal selection for the collector, or simply one who wishes to display cherished family heirlooms or memorabilia.  Hand-crafted from exotic mahogany veneered in a flame pattern on the lower panels, it features a subtle step front center section flanked by rounded sides, all glazed, to allow maximum display potential.  Glass shelves and a mirror on the inside back allow ambient light in to such a degree that internal lighting is not required.  Exceptional bronze corbels appear on the cornerposts of the step-front just under the boldly molded crown.  The cornerposts are fluted with bronze wheat castings at the bottom mounted into the flutes.  Rosettes punctuate the door panel, with cast molding creating a framework that is repeated on the rounded edges of the flanking sides.  Brass trim across the base molding, as well as caps on the tapered legs completes the look.
