Antique Petite French Gothic Bonnetiere ~ Cabinet is a truly unusual find, indeed!  Measuring just over four and a half feet tall, it is only two and a half feet wide at its widest, making it a great choice for narrow spots especially those prevalent in open floor plans or walls with lots of windows or doors.  Constructed of dense, quarter-sawn oak, it features four doors hung on exterior hinges, a remarkable trait for such a diminutive piece.  The storage is separated into a smaller upper tier, and larger lower cabinet, fitted with a lower floor and four adjustable shelves, making this an extraordinarily versatile little storage piece.  The top is of solid planks of wood, with a substantial base below over squared feet for visual balance.  Each side consists of three framed, recessed panels, but the doors themselves steal the show.  The upper doors are carved with elaborate rosettes, while the lower doors feature a small horizontal panel above carved with rosettes inside Greek coin backgrounds.  The lower vertical panels depict classic Gothic designs with circular, arched and spire forms embellished with foliate and rosette carvings for a truly timeless look.
