19th Century French Louis Philippe Period Bookcase ~ Bibliotheque is a stately example of the genre, rendered from dense, old-growth oak to literally last for centuries!  The trademark multi-tiered crown with mitered corners presides over the upper tier, with a brace of doors fitted with six panes each and a white-painted interior designed to amplify ambient light and showcase your collection.  The lower tier steps out a bit, providing a little more depth for the pair of drawers and surprisingly capacious cabinets.  The casework also continues the bold yet restrained molding with mitered corners, even into the pediment feet.  Brass bale pulls and key guards complete the look.  What a wonderful way to blend with almost any decor and style!
