19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Bookcase is a stately example of classic architecture and design!  Fitted with four adjustable shelves it boasts an additional floor behind the door panels for items you do not wish to display at the moment.  The panels are beautifully hand-carved depicting a basket bursting with wildflowers and suspended by ribbon, gardening symbols that identify with the age of Louis XVI.  Other accents abound, from the carved detail on the crown to the rosettes and more foliates and flowers at the tops of the corner posts.  Fine molded detail provides the perfect framework, enhancing the sheer natural beauty of the sumptuous French walnut.
