19th Century French Neoclassical Henri II Walnut Bookcase is a stately expression of the revival of the style that dominated European tastes in the period.  Crafted from highly prized sumptuous French walnut, it features a tailored yet impressive crown including bold molding, pyramidal blocks on each end and fletching motif carved across the width.  The blocks appear above the tapered and fluted columns which mark each corner, and flank the finely molded glazed doors which also have pyramidal forms with fancy molding detail on the lower panels.  The lower full width drawer is a duplicate of the bonnet above, although slightly more elongated, providing capacious storage with exterior access.  Doors open to reveal three adjustable shelves for a total of four surfaces to provide lots of variations on your display.  Bold base molding and bun feet complete the look.
