Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Marble Top Petite Open Bookshelf is a marvelous expression of the style, rendered on a diminutive scale perfect for a cozy spot, apartment or townhome!  Hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany, it features a neoclassical architecture with rectilinear cabinet space supported by four turned legs tipped with brass capped feet.  Brass quarter-round molding trim outlines the side panels, and a pierced gallery rail in brass surrounds the luxuriously veined marble top.  The front cornerposts are rounded and fluted, and provide a framework for the two adjustable shelves and total of three surfaces of the open bookcase.  Subtle elegance in miniature!
