Antique Regence Bookcase ~ Display Cabinet is an excellent choice for those who need storage, display and style flair in a relatively compact case.  Not quite seven feet tall, it will fit in areas with beams, furdowns, staircases, etc.  The design features a rectilinear case accented by a demilune crown defined by bold molding and carved with shell and foliates in bas relief.  The crown overlooks the three door glazed upper tier flanked by corners carved with motifs to complement the crown, and fitted with arched, glazed doors allowing one to view the interior.  Stepped out from the upper tier lies the lower tier below, designed with three drawers and as many cabinets, all carved with iterations of the shell and foliate design, including the corners, and fitted with cast brass drawer pulls and key guards.  The six doors and three drawers open to reveal amazingly capacious storage, while when closed the piece exudes a stately elegance that is not too formal, yet speaks to the quality and flair of a bygone era.
