Antique Country French Wrought Iron & Crystal Chandelier

Antique Country French Wrought Iron & Crystal Chandelier is a delightful blend between the blacksmith's and the glassmaker's arts!  The elegant yet tailored architecture of the fixture was executed from red-hot iron, and skillfully formed into the elegant design.  Eight extended, double-scrolled arms emanate out from the main body which takes on an urn form, and hold piecrust style bobeches that in turn hold the chandelles, fitted with realistic-looking candle sleeve covers.  Acanthus leaves were formed from the iron, then curved to attach to various spots in the scrollwork throughout the design, then painted with gold highlighting with lots of patina for wonderful visual allure.  Finally, various sizes and shapes of cut crystals were added to create a bit of sparkle and resulting in a splendid fixture that does not even have to be turned on to enhance your room!
