Antique French Brass & Crystal Chandelier is a study in grace and elegance!  The structure of the piece is solid brass, with a crown adorned with scrolled arms that hold teardop crystals atop a secondary tier with faceted crystals just underneath.  The central shaft consists of urn-shaped fluted crystal sections, creating a column effect.  At the center of the fixture is a concentric arrangement of the central fluted crystal shaft, with scrolled hangers adorned with crystals, and emanating up from below scrolled in an upwards fashion to appear at the same level are the main armatures of the design, each lavished with multiple types of faceted and pearl-strung crystals.  Centered amongst this concentric arrangement are three sockets designed to illuminate from within.  At the tips of the armatures are the bobeches that hold the chandelles encapsulating the sockets and covered with realistic-looking candle sleeve covers.  The faceted crystals create wonderful prismatic effects, and culminate in a faceted ball hung as a pendant to complete the look.
