Antique French Empire Bronze & Brass Chandelier is a marvel of craftsmanship!  Dark green painted body is festooned with polished bronze adornment, with styles influenced by Napoleon's Egyptian campaign.  A Roman maiden (goddess?) rides a chariot pulled by a brace of horses in one depicting repeated three times on the main body.  Original chain and embellishments adorn the chandelier, but the central brass shaft provides the actual support.  Six chandelles rest atop the elegantly crafted arms, with a pineapple pendant finial at the base appearing below two concentric circles of egg & dart molding.
