Faience Garniture from Rouen ~ Pair of Ceramic Vases with Matching Lidded Urn was entirely hand-painted by talented artists in a classical theme using vibrant cobalt blues, mustard yellows and olive greens creating intricate scenes of flowers and foliage arranged in amazingly intricate patterns completely encircling each object.  The pair of vases were designed to flank the centered urn which survives with its original lid featuring a bird motif on top.  Such three piece mantel sets are really perfect for any horizontal surface, giving one the ability to arrange them symmetrically or otherwise, or even to use on different surfaces in the room to tie the decor together.  Fresh flowers in the vases will always be a good idea, and permanent flowers would create a maintenance-free decorative accent.
