Pair 19th Century Blue & White Chinese Lidded Urns will make a delightful addition to your decorating scheme!  Hand-crafted from local clays, each features a timeless design that has proven to be very stable over the centuries, with a wide base and relatively low center of gravity.  Decorated in enamel with cobalt blue, each features fanciful dragons cavorting about the entire perimeter.  Decorative borders and other motifs are intermingled into the design.  The lids which amazingly remain intact, are also decorated with whimsical motifs, and topped with foo dogs.  Four monkey faces are affixed to the upper shoulders for an added comical touch.
