19th Century French Louis Philippe Period Mahogany Marble Top Console was hand-crafted by talented artisans, and features the classic lines inherent in the style.  Tailored architecture is enhanced by serpentine-scrolled front legs, carved with acanthus leaves at the top and bottom of the scroll.  The bookmatched veneer base and drawer facade amplify the natural beauty of the exotic imported mahogany, with a full width drawer accessed with turned knobs.  Elegant Carrara marble tops the piece for carefree enjoyment.  The design is self-supporting, meaning it can be used as an entryway console, along a hallway, stairwell landing, as a sideboard or even as a sofa table.
