19th Century French Louis XVI Neoclassical Wrought Iron & Carrara Marble Console recalls the glory years of the Belle Epoque that occurred after the reign of Napoleon III was but a memory.  Here we see the classical architecture of ancient Greece and Rome reborn in solid wrought iron, featuring a variety of timeless motifs that truly transcend the ages.  Greek wave, bell flowers, colonnades, and rectilinear architecture are all there for your endless enjoyment, rendered by talented blacksmiths from red hot iron.  Originally designed as a window guard, it has been painted many colors over the decades, with the most recent colors still there in distressed form which only adds to the allure.  Now repurposed as a console, it has been topped with desirable Carrara marble for a wonderfully neutral color and carefree surface.  Great for hallways and stairwell landings, as well as anywhere a table against the wall is desirable!
