19th Century Petite Louis XV Marble Top Console is the ideal choice for a special cozy niche, small foyer, stairwell landing, or between windows.  Just over two feet in both height and width, it exhibits all the careful attention to hand-crafted and sculpted detail of much larger pieces, with bowed facade and serpentine sides, all carved to perfection with shell and foliate motifs, with flowers added to the shoulders of the four cabriole legs which are tipped with upturned acanthus plumes and also make this piece self-supporting, which increases its serviceability throughout the home.  The original intricately hand-beveled marble top with luxurious coloration and veining, has been designed to follow the complex contours of the frame below and add a level of carefree luxury to the piece.
