Antique French Directoire Style Mahogany Carrara Marble Top Console ~ Sofa Table is a splendid design perfect for more formal decors.  Using exotic imported mahogany, the artisans created an intriguing form with concave sides and just over thirteen inches deep, making its impact on your traffic flow very minimal.  The luxurious natural coloration and grain of the wood explain its timeless appeal, and the qualities of the wood ensure it will remain this beautiful for many decades to come.  The upper casework consists of a pair of drawers, each trimmed with brass molding which has also been used to define the concave side panels.  Louvered brass panels appear on the plinth blocks which separate the panels and appear atop the tapered and fluted legs, of which there are four, making this keepsake self-supporting and perfect for any hallway, stairwell landing or even behind the sofa!  Cast brass ring pulls also adorn the drawers which open to provide substantial and convenient storage.  Below appears a full width shelf perfect for display, under which appear the four tapered and fluted feet.  To top it off is a luxurious piece of Carrara marble cut to follow the contours of the casework below.
