Antique French Louis XVI Giltwood Demilune Console with Carrara Marble is a masterpiece of elegance that will provide the perfect accent to any entryway, hallway or landing.  Hand-carved with full coverage foliate spray motifs in bas relief across the entire apron, it features extended plinth blocks over each leg that are enhanced with rectangular acanthus rosettes.  The blocks anchor the elegantly carved, tapered & fluted legs which are joined together again below with gracefully bowed stretchers that are also carved with ribbon and egg & dart trim.  To top off the work, luxurious Carrara marble has been chosen that has been contoured to follow the support below then given a cove bevel for the perfect finishing touch.
