19th Century Italian Rococo Giltwood Marble Top Console with Mirror will make any entryway a spectacular one!  This combination is also the ideal antique furniture accent for stairwells, between windows, and other such niches.  Such pieces bring the luxury of a marble top surface, the beauty of hand-carved giltwood, and the reflection of the rest of your room with the generously sized original beveled mirror.  The Rococo style has been wonderfully captured in the gildwood framework from the boldly carved shell, floral and foliate crown down to the upturned foliates cradling the base of the mirror.  The neutral Sienna marble makes an excellent carefree display surface, and the stylistic theme continued in the serpentine, bowfront console framework below, adorned with more shell, floral and foliate motifs.  The four elegant cabriole legs allow it to be free standing, although the mirror should be secured against the wall.  The legs are connected with subtly scrolled stretchers centered with yet another stupendous Rococo sculpture to provide balance for the elegant crown above.
