Mid-Century Brass and Glass Empire Style Console with Mirror is a wonderful interpretation of the style, rendered in a more modern flair with brass, glass and a rich green enamel perfect for making a splendid style statement in a diminutive space!  The arched crown features a stippled green background onto which a cast brass likeness of Bacchus has been set.  Fluted columns support the crown and beveled mirror, which overlooks the glass top console below, designed to be very shallow so as to produce a minimal footprint on the floor.  The rounded sides of the console also aid in traffic flow through the room.  Two tiers of brass trim are connected on the sides with turned brass spindles, with another stippled green panel in front mounted with another classic Empire style motif consisting of a rosette centered between two foliate fronds.  Turned brass legs provide support, and are connected with a "U" shaped stretcher below, adorned with two cast brass dolphins with intertwined tails.
