Pair 19th Century French Neoclassical Consoles ~ Dessert Buffets are a superlative blend of classical architecture inspired by the ancient masters of design of Greece and Rome, blended with embellishment that was a product of the fertile artistic minds of the Renaissance!  Large carved bun feet provide support below, upon which two tiers of contoured shelving appear, each with promontories that provide a base for tapered, fluted and reeded column sections.  The top four columns support the elegant casework above, defined by amazingly beautiful molded detailing around the top edge, as well as elongated egg motifs around the entire facade with rounded sides, punctuated by rosettes that appear on the plinths atop the aforementioned columns.  Each piece has a drawer with original turned wood pendant pull.  An exceptional choice for providing symmetry to any room!
