19th Century Country French Louis XVI Secretary in Stripped Oak

19th Century Country French Louis XVI Secretary in Stripped Oak was designed with classical architecture that dates back thousands of years to the ancient Greeks and Romans!  Tailored, rectilinear lines are enhanced with beaded trim molding, with raised panels surrounded by intricately scrolled olive branches, ribbon and wild flowers in stunning bas relief.  Tapered and fluted legs provide support, and cast bronze pulls and key guards add a timeless touch.  The beautifully decorated slant front opens to reveal a spacious desktop work surface with four interior drawers carved with complementary motifs, as well as a center cubby hole with corbel framework, and an unusual full width interior shelf.  The sheer natural beauty and patina of the old growth French white oak is enhanced by our proprietary stripping method to enjoy for generations to come!
