Early 19th Century Country French Rustic Desk ~ Dining Table

Early 19th Century Country French Rustic Desk ~ Dining Table was hand-crafted using time-honored techniques out of solid planks of old growth oak, and was literally designed to last several lifetimes!  Solid plank top shows less signs of age than most tables this old, indicating it was well-cared for over the past two centuries.  Two drawers fitted with turned wood knobs add utility, and the tailored design is ideal for rustic and casual decors, especially considering the natural finish of the old-growth oak.  The drawers also allow one to use it as a desk, sofa table, or for dining.  Take your pick!  Straight tapered legs were fastened to the apron sections using pegged mortise & tenon joinery, all with hand tools, in time-honored traditional methods handed down from generation to generation.
