19th Century French Neoclassical Walnut Desk ~ Double Faced is a design that is perfect for placement anywhere in the room!  Lavished on all four sides with French style Greek coin motif in bold relief, it features acanthus rosettes on each corner and turned wood drawer pulls on the outer drawers, with a keyhole access for the center drawer, all of which boast the same Greek coin design.  Support is provided by four sturdy tapered and fluted column legs which are further reinforced with lyre-shaped stretchers below that allow for maximum foot room, and are embellished with a bold turned finial for visual interest below.  The fully gadrooned top, all hand-carved of course, surrounds the leather top desk which sports gold embossing all around in amazing condition.
