19th Century Rustic Country French Desk ~ Bureau Plat is the perfect choice for a clean, 21st century workspace or office!  Hand-crafted from solid oak to last for generations, it features two spacious drawers, which is all one needs these days with portable hard drives and thumb drives affixed to one's keychain.  The drawers are accessed by finely detailed flourish pendant pulls set on floral backings.  Turned legs reflect an urn motif, and are connected below by a classic "H" stretcher that provides maximum footroom while adding wonderful stability.  Finished on all four sides, it's perfect for any placement in the room.  Note the double pegged mortise & tenon joinery.
