Antique Country French Louis XVI Secretary

Antique Country French Louis XVI Secretary was meticulously hand-crafted from fine French walnut, and features a classical design which has been revived many times since the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations.  The slant front drop-down desk surface immediately catches the eye, with an alluring gull wing shape trimmed with egg & dart molding, and centered with a cameo of a lady framed with ribbon.  The panel drops open to reveal a work surface perfect for laptops and tablets, with a pair of cubby holes and four interior drawers adding convenience.  The main casework has been fitted with two full-width drawers festooned with floral, foliate and ribbon motifs, then framed in egg & dart to complement the slant-front, and finally fitted with brass pulls.  The undulating apron is centered with floral and foliate carvings, and is supported by four tapered and fluted legs to complete the look.
