Antique French Gothic Executive Desk in Stripped Oak is finished on all four sides, and features timeless linenfold carvings on each of the cabinet panels, with horizontal linenfold panels positioned above.  The solid oak plank top will ensure decades of daily enjoyment, and the remainder is constructed of old-growth quarter-sawn oak just like the top for long-lasting elegance.  Two recessed panels appear on the sides, making it a good choice for placement anywhere in the room.  On the "business" side, the doors are mounted with outboard hinges and fitted with brass key guards, which complement the brass pulls for the drawers above.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the natural beauty and patina of the wood presenting a softer, lighter visual impact.
