Antique Louis XIV Double-Faced Desk is perfect for the executive who needs a smaller desk or perhaps a desk for the home office. Hand-crafted by talented artisans from tightly grained oak, it features finishing on all four sides so placement in the center of the room is possible. Only the owner's side is carved, with three drawers and two cabinets adorned with stylized floral, foliate and scrollwork in relief set apart by distinctive frameworks. Eight scrolled legs mounted to undulating aprons provide support, and are carved with stylized shells and cloven hoof feet. An ideal size for the 21st century workplace!
