Antique Louis XIV Wall Desk ~ Vanity with Faux Leather can serve more than one purpose in style!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak, it features four cabriole legs supporting a surface finished with faux leather and fitted with a subtle recess in the middle flanked by two drawers.  Above is a set-back cabinet tier with shelving, cabinets of course, and a brace of small drawers, highlighted by a scrolled crown serving as the ledge around the top shelf.  Carved embellishments include shell, foliates and scrollwork and appear on the crown, upper cabinets, and drawer facades ~ even the beautifully scrolled legs tipped with cloven hoof feet.
