Antique Spanish Colonial Desk honors the traditional craftsmanship of the Iberian peninsula, with a design that dates back centuries!  Using solid planks of selected hardwoods, the thick, durable writing surface was placed atop a shallow casework that contains three deep drawers, with the top affixed to the case with dovetails.  Each drawer is adorned with raised panels and centered with steel pendant pulls, and was constructed with solid pine interiors for long life.  Support is provided by a pair of lyre-shaped legs with bold scrolls in the design, connected by a pair of wrought iron overlapped scrolled stretchers affixed to the crosspiece of the leg supports.  The "front" of the desk features the same raised panels but without gaps for the pulls, nor the pulls themselves for a clean, contiguous look.
