Early 19th Century Spanish Desk with Wrought Iron is an excellent example of traditional Catalonian craftsmanship handed down for generations!  Crafted from solid oak harvested from the foothills of the Pyrenees, it features a thick plank top dovetailed to the shallow apron underneath which houses two drawers.  The top is further joined to the framework below with four hand-made iron bolts with hand-forged nuts underneath designed for tightening without tools.  Classic band-sawn legs provide elegant scrollwork for visual appeal and support, and are attached to the underside of the casework with hand-forged, scrolled iron stretchers for excellent visual flair.  Iron drawer pulls add a nice touch.  The desk is finished on all four sides with subtle raised panels for placement in the center of the room if desired!
