Set of 6 Antique French Louis XV Walnut Dining Chairs were sculpted from sumptuous French walnut by master artisans!  The timeless double arched seat back crown design with lyre-shaped seats was designed for beauty and comfort.  Four cabriole legs ensure the chairs are attractive from all angles.  Carved detail includes stylized shell at the crown on top, with an even more elaborate version of the motif centered on the apron.  Boldly carved acanthus plumes cover the shoulders of the cabriole legs, with another plume reaching up from the escargot feet below.  The caning has seen much better days, so this exquisite set is sold As Is, with our intention that the new owner upholster them in the material of their choice.
