Set of 6 Antique French Louis XVI Caned Dining Chairs combine a light & airy design with classical architecture that dates back to the times of ancient Greece and Rome!  Rounded seatbacks and gracefully contoured seats are fitted with cane for breathable, lightweight comfort ~ perfect for Southern climes.  Each seatback framework is carved with spiral ribbon molding all around, with a more tailored grooved apron around the seat below.  Tapered and fluted column legs in the front join to the aprons with plinths carved with acanthus rosettes.  The blonde, natural color of the fine French walnut only adds to the subtle allure.  Ideal for adding cushions upholstered in your coordinating fabric!
