Set of 6 Antique French Louis XVI Painted & Caned Dining Chairs are ideal for the Southern climate!  Hand-carved from solid hardwood, each features a contoured oval seatback and generous seat, all caned to provide lightweight comfort that breathes in the warmer weather.  Spiral ribbon and a bow surround the oval seatback, which is supported by scrollwork connecting to the seat below, trimmed in the same spiral ribbon, all of which is highlighted in a patinaed gold for subtle elegance.  Support is provided by tapered and fluted legs in the neoclassical style.
