Set of 6 Antique French Louis XVI Painted Dining Chairs includes 2 Armchairs!  Add classical elegance to your dining experience, but with a toned down formality that works with more casual decors.  Contoured oval seatbacks and gnerously sized seats provide comfort and are upholstered in a lovely soft blue-gray mohair which is in very good condition.  A carved bow and ribbon appear at the top of each seat back, with the upholstery framed by beaded molding.  Acanthus plumes adorn the seat back uprights, as well as the armrests on the two armchairs.  Rosettes appear on the plinths with tapered and fluted legs providing support.
