Set of 6 Antique Italian Renaissance Walnut Dining Chairs includes 2 Armchairs will c0mmand a majestic presence for your dining pleasure!  Boldly arched seatback crowns are carved with an heraldic crest flanked by foliates in relief, leading the eyes to the carved corbel shapes atop the uprights which frame the generously sized padded seatback.  On the armchairs, a connection is made to the seat with armrests scrolled at the ends underneath, scrolled and carved armrest supports.  The legs below continue the scrolled form and are carved with acanthus plumes on the shoulders, and lions' paws feet at the base.  Interestingly, the front legs are connected to the back legs with scrolled and carved stretchers for increased visual appeal.  Faux leather is in very good condition.
