Set of 6 Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Dining Chairs are a classic that your family can enjoy for generations to come, thanks to the superior materials, craftsmanship and design!  Hand-carved from dense, old-growth oak, each features a triple arched seatback crown lavished with carved shell and foliate motifs, a theme that is continued on the lower back splat, carved in an urn outline, the apron under the luxurious mohair seats, and the elegant cabriole legs which are tipped with cloven hoof feet.  The seatbacks are also contoured in what today has become known as an "ergonomic" shape although that particular term hadn't been coined when these were produced.  The legs are strengthened and made more visually appealing with double lyre stretchers as an added special touch.
