19th Century Draw Leaf Banquet Table is the perfect answer for those who need a dining table to function for normal family gatherings most of the year, yet one that can expand for entertaining larger groups.  In fact, it opens to over ten feet eight inches when both leaves are extended!  Hand-crafted from solid old-growth oak, it features a beveled top with mitered corners so no sharp edges protrude into the room.  Under the top are two leaves that draw out when needed, accommodating an extra three guests on each leaf, then just as easily tuck back under the main top to free up floor space.  Support is provided by a beautifully scrolled apron all around, with posts serving as legs that have been turned and faceted into elegant urn forms, joining together with a double lyre stretcher designed to maximize leg room while still providing extra stability to the design.  Bold footed bun feet complete the look.
