19th Century Swedish Painted Drop Leaf Table ~ Sofa Table is a marvel of ingenuity!  Hand-crafted by talented rural artisans, it features two huge leaves that drop down out of the way when not needed, making this a great choice as a sofa or hall table.  When a dining configuration is desired, the leaves fold up independently, and are supported each by a pair of interlinked gate legs that when fully open on both sides, provide no less than eight legs total for support!  One leaf at a time adds versatility.  The painted finish has achieved a lovely patina and state of aged distress that is disarmingly charming.  A drawer on each end provides convenient storage, only adding to the allure.
