Antique Country French Dining Table with Leaf Extensions is an unusual example of fine craftsmanship, exhibiting restrained styling that is at once elegant yet casual!  Beautifully grained oak was selected to create the piece, with solid posts cut in a graceful cabriole form serving as legs, and solid apron sections embellished with a modicum of tailored contour and molded detail.  The corners are slightly recessed and finely trimmed, softening the effect on the traffic patterns in the room.  The end aprons are actually pull-out supports for the separate leaves, but when closed, you cannot tell the table expands.  The pull outs also possess a shallow drawer space perfect for storing linens, placemats, napkins and such.  The softness of the stripped finish allows it to work with most any decor.  All in all, an ideal selection for a cozy dining area or breakfast nook.
